Quick Review
- Looking back at your notes from this week's teaching was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged or confused you?
Digging Deeper
- Explain in your own terms what it means for the Spirit to dwell inside of you. What encouragement does this bring to you? What assurance?
- Look up the following passages: 1Cor. 3:16, 2 Cor. 6:16, 2 Timothy 1:14, Jude 19. How do these passages reflect what Paul is saying in Romans 8:9.
- What does it mean for our bodies to be the temple of the Holy Spirit? What are the implications of this truth?
- What does this mean, " There is no such thing as a non-practicing Christian."
- When Jesus saves us, the Holy Spirit enters our bodies and awakens us. Pastor Eric gave us 5 areas we are awakened in by the Holy Spirit. How have your eyes been opened in these areas.
- Read 1 Cor. 6:19-20. Spend some time in prayer...reading the verse over and over. As we move toward a time when we focus on the cross and resurrection of Jesus. What does it mean to be bought with a price? How does this capture your heart? What does this stir in your intellect and in your heart?
