MISSIONAL COMMUNITY QUESTIONS

QUICK REVIEW

Was there anything from Sunday' sermon that challenged, encouraged, or confused you?

DIGGING DEEPER

1.  All of us are ambitious.  What are you ambitious for?  What are some things you should be more ambitious for?  What are some things you should be less ambitious for?

2.  Romans 15:14 Paul seems to really commend the Roman church for being full of goodness, complete with knowledge, and able to instruct one another.  Now read 1 Corinthians 3:1-4 and Hebrews 5:11-13.  Which one would Paul be more likely to write to Mission Church?  In what ways are we more like Romans 15?  In what ways are we more like 1 Cor. and Hebrews)?

3.  C.S. Lewis once said that “true humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less.”
Explain.  What are some ways we can do this as Mission Church both corporately and individually?

4.  Read Psalm 119:33-40.  How does this speak to what we should be ambitious for?  How does this come against our natural desires?
