Passage: Acts 1:22– 2:3

Quick Review

Looking back over your notes from this week's teaching, was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged, or confused you?

Diggin Deeper

1. More than anything else, what is the greatest unifier of community? Search the N.T. and write down (two passages) that reflect this truth?

2. What is the difference between gospel plus community and gospel revealing community? What have you built your strongest community around? Why is the gospel seemingly not enough for many people?

3. As it was discussed on Sunday being a part of a community of faith can be messy. Read Matthew 18:21-22. Why is it important for beleivers to respond in view of the gospel? Have you ever been hurt by a fellow believer? How were you able to work through it? Or why weren't you able to do so?

4. It what ways have you made community cheap or god? A big part of Gospel centered community is the willingness to set aside our desires for others (write down 3 "one another" passages that reflect this). In what areas of your life is this hardest to do?

5. Read the following article at http://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/saved-by-a-community-for-community. What insights did you glean? Where do we go from here?
