MISSIONAL COMMUNITY QUESTIONS

What from this past Sunday's teaching particularly caught your attention, encouraged, challenged, or confused you?

1. How does the way Jesus calls his followers flip discipleship on it's head? How does this still effect us today?

2. Read Matthew 16:24. Following Jesus may cost you literally everything. What net is Jesus asking you to throw down to follow him?

3. How is this cost different because we live in America? What are ways we can forsake culture in order to show that Jesus is of utmost value to us?

4. Explain the phrase 'every disciple is a disciple maker." Specifically, how does that look in your current context?

5. Find other scriptures where Jesus flipped the 'normal way of doing things' upside down. How does this give you hope?

6. How has your life changed since following Jesus? What changes still need to be made?
