2. In looking over your notes from this weeks sermon what was the most important truth from God's Word? Was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged or confused you? Any questions?
3. In your own words define and describe a gospel-centered marriage? What does Tim Keller mean when he says, "Biblical marriage is gospel reenactment."
4. Define and describe a consumer-centered marriage? Give examples from your own marriage where you have been a consumer.
5. How are consumerism, selfishness, and immaturity cancerous to marriage?
6. Why is pursuing Jesus more important than pursuing your husband/wife? How is this encouraged or discouraged in your home?
7. How is Jesus bringing you to the end of yourself through marriage? Why is this a gift?
8. If you are married, we want to encourage you to have a conversation with your husband/wife before attending on Wednesday. Do we have a gospel-centered marriage or a consumer-centered marriage? Confess, repent, and celebrate together followed by prayer. Also, come with a specific prayer request to share with the MC in regards to your marriage. Each MC should take extra time to pray out loud for each married/single person this week.
