Finishing Faithfully

October 13, 2019 Speaker: Justin Crowe Series: Center Church

Passage: 2 Timothy 4:10–22

1. Re-read 2 Timothy 4:9-22. If possible, listen to the sermon(s) again.
2. Looking back over your notes from this weeks sermon (or the past few weeks in 2 Timothy) what was the most important truth from God's Word? Was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged you, or confused you? Any questions?

3. Because we all have...when have you felt most like a Demas in your life? Why? What brought you back to repentance?

4. In what ways or areas of your life are you most prone to be 'in love with this present world'? Why this particular area? How do you guard against allowing that to cause you to sinfully give into that love for the world?

5. Were there any takeaways you felt were there that were not discussed from verses 11-22?

6. We discussed 5: reconciliation, continued discipleship, Christian fellowship, forgiveness, standing firm in the Lord. Of these 5, which is most difficult for you? Why? Of the 5, which have you had to practice most?

7. Read Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:13, and Matthew 6:14-15. Easy question. What do these verses mean? Why is this such a strong and common command to us?
