MISSIONAL COMMUNITY QUESTIONS
-
Re-read Exodus 6. If possible, listen to the sermon(s) again.
-
Looking back over your notes from this weeks sermon (or the past few weeks in Exodus) what was the most important truth from God's Word? Was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged you, or confused you? Any questions?
-
Does thinking about or talking about demonic forces and spiritual battles make you uncomfortable? Why or why not?
-
Read Ephesians 6:10-12. How does this weeks sermon and this text help to reshape the way we handle interpersonal relationships and disagreements?
-
The fact of the matter is Satan can sometimes be your biggest cheerleader in life, perfectly willing to give you everything you ever wanted if you will but turn away from worshipping Jesus. Satan is not necessarily after you worshipping him as much as simply getting you to worship anything but Jesus as king. How do we discern between blessings from God and the faux blessings of Satan when life is good?
-
Now having a better understanding of THE Satan and his constant assault on us according 1 Peter 5:8, where are some unexpected places, either in society or even in your own life, that could be categorized as demonic/Satanic/worshipping Satan?
