1. [V 7-10] What is the danger in being a part of the CROWD? In what ways/seasons do you find yourself drifting as part of the crowd?

2. [v11-12] What is the significance in being able to CONFESS a truth about Jesus and yet not submit to Him as your Lord?

3. [v13] Look up other passages in the scripture about Jesus/Holy Spirit CALLING people [be prepared to share with your MC]. Take a moment to remember the mercy and grace in Jesus calling you.

4. [V14-19] When Jesus COMMISSIONS the the disciples for two purposes, to be near Him and to be sent by Him. What is the purpose of being near Jesus? What is the purpose of being sent by Jesus? Why are both of the these crucial in following Jesus?

5. [V20-21] How do you respond to CRITICS of Jesus?

6. What are the 4 D’s that these passages reveal about who Jesus is? Are you for Him or against Him?
