Exodus 4: Mediator

February 21, 2021 Speaker: Justin Crowe Series: Exodus

  1. Re-read Exodus If possible, listen to the sermon(s) again.

  1. Looking back over your notes from this weeks sermon what was the most important truth from God's Word? Was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged you, or confused you? Any questions?

  1. It was said on Sunday that ‘if you are a Christian then you have a calling upon your life’. Truly, how does that make you feel? How can we as Mission help you recognize and grow in that calling?

  1. Re-read 2 Corinthians 12:9. How have you seen God work in your own weaknesses to bring about his glory? What are some ways you are still using your own weaknesses as excuses to follow God’s calling on your life?

  1. What is your initial reaction when you read the words ‘God sought to put him to death?’ How does God’s Word reframe our thinking on this and what is truly fair?

  1. Has God revealed to you areas in your life that you are only ‘half-heartedly devoted’ to him and his call? Usually when we have those areas in life it is not because we have a distorted view of ourselves but it is usually a distorted view of God, of Christ, or of the cross. Share some scriptures that can help us to rightly see these three things in proper perspective. How can we, as the church, help you to move to whole-hearted worship?
